The National Indian Gaming Commission announces an Upcoming Public Commission Meeting

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 29, 2014 – The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC/Commission) announced its first public meeting of 2014. The open meeting is scheduled in conjunction with the NIGC’s tribal consultation in San Diego, CA on May 14, 2014. The agenda for the public meeting will be posted in advance on the NIGC website at www.nigc.gov.

It should be noted that this meeting is separate from the NIGC tribal leaders Consultation being held the same day from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.  All NIGC consultations utilize a group discussion format. To obtain as many comments as possible on May 14, 2014, there will be teleconference capabilities for all of those that wish to participate but cannot attend in person.
