NIGC Announces Region Training set for Washington State

Washington, DC March 30, 2011 — The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC and/or Commission) has announced a regional training opportunity to be held April 12- 14, 2011 at the Clear Water Casino & Resort located in Suquamish, WA. This three day regional training highlights topics such as: internal controls specific to information systems, the internal audit function on how to spot an Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) violation and facility licensing. Training and technical assistance is a vital component of the NIGC’s mission and we have placed it as a top initiative for this Commission.
