As we observe Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Month (MMIP), the NIGC is organizing a special conversation focused on the critical issue of protecting Indigenous populations, particularly through the lens of Tribal communities. This dialogue aims to shed light on the intersection of tribal sovereignty, public safety, and economic development within Native American Communities. We believe that local tribal programs play a significant role in advancing these objectives in providing safer and resilient tribal communities. The NIGC anticipates an engaging and informative exchange on these important topics.
