NIGC Privacy Program
The NIGC is committed to collecting and managing private and personal identifying information (PII) in accordance with all relevant Federal statutes, regulations and guidance, including:
- the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended (“The Privacy Act”) at Title 5 (U.S.C.) 552a
- Section 208 of the E-Government Act of 2002
- OMB Circular A-130 (July 2016)
In order to ensure that the agency is compliant with applicable privacy requirements, the NIGC has established a Privacy Program (Program) that supervises the development and implementation of privacy policies. This Program is overseen by the Senior Agency Officer for Privacy (SAOP). The current contact information for the Program is:
