NIGC National Training Conference (NTC) – In-person Registration Only

Description: Join Us for the NIGC National Training Conference – In Person, this July! NIGC’s NTC – In Person July 29 – 30, 2025 Tulsa, Oklahoma. This year’s in-person event offers two days of rich learning experiences with over 15 expert-led courses covering key areas like Audit, Compliance, and other vital regulatory topics. Whether you’re looking to deepen your expertise in a specific area or broaden your skills across multiple subjects, there’s something offered for everyone. Design your own learning path—stick to your area of focus or mix and match sessions to explore new ideas and perspectives. You’ll also have the chance to connect with peers, exchange insights, and gain valuable tools to support your work in Tribal gaming regulation. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and engage—so many options await you.

The NTC training is offered at no cost. Participants are responsible for their own lodging, meals, and transportation. Location: River Spirit Casino Resort 8330 Riverside Parkway Tulsa, Oklahoma

Important notes for in person registration: There are two certificate courses offered to in-person attendees. You must pre-register for each certificate course and attend the full duration of the course to earn a certificate. The pre-registration is located within the in-person registration form (link below). The certificate courses will not be live-streamed.

       6. Topic: NTC 2025 Auditing Revenue Top Challenges

Description: Auditing revenue continues to account for a significant percentage of findings in Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP) reports nationwide. This course will cover the NIGC revenue auditing requirements for common systems used in Tribal gaming operations and examine the challenges of auditing these systems. Attendees will gain an understanding of the intent behind the requirements and explore strategies for auditing player tracking, key security, and currency counter interface systems effectively. *Live stream registration only, registration not needed if attending in person*

7. Topic: NTC 2025: Contracts and Actions that Lead to IGRA Violations

Description: This course is designed to equip TGRAs with the tools to understand and determine whether there are violations of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. It aims to assist regulatory professionals in identifying misuse of gaming revenue, violations of the sole proprietary interest, and management without an approved contract that may be occurring at your properties.  This course’s length is 2 hours and 15 minutes and includes a 15-minute break. *Live stream registration only, registration not needed if attending in person*

8. Topic: NTC 2025: Audit Follow Up – Enhancing Compliance

Description: This course focuses on enhancing compliance through effective follow-up of internal audits, with a specific focus on NIGC MICS requirements. Participants will learn how to plan and execute follow-up reviews, determine the timing for follow-up, request relevant documents, and perform necessary testing. The course will cover handling unresolved findings and proper documentation for follow-up testing. Activities include reviewing audit findings, scheduling follow-up tests, and ensuring compliance has been achieved. *Live stream registration only, registration not needed if attending in person*
