MICS Advisory Committee Information
The National Indian Gaming Commission drafted proposed revisions to selected existing sections of the Minimum Internal Control Standards (Part 542) and drafted selected proposed Class II Minimum Internal Control Standards (Part 543). The proposed revisions and proposed standards were presented to the MICS Advisory Committee and discussed at one or more of the meetings which were held July 19-21, October 7-9, December 12-13, 2008, January 13-15, 2009, and October 6-8, 2009.
The documents include Committee comments, NIGC Responses and revisions that reflect discussion that took place at the meetings.
In the proposed revisions to Part 542, strike through items are proposed deletions and underlined items are proposed additions. The proposed Part 543 sections are presented without edit indicators, but were adapted to Class II from the proposed revisions to Part 542. Comments can be directed to the NIGC at info@nigc.gov.
